Sexual Health Nurses and consultants are available to provide:

  • direct classroom education to students in CALM classes on sexually transmitted infections and contraception as outlined in the Alberta Education Curriculum
  • direct classroom education to students in alternative schools on sexual health (including STI and contraception)
  • workshops and/or individual support to teachers in grades 4–12 on: strategies to increase capacity in teaching human sexuality and current issues, trends and research in sexual health
  • resource lending (DVDs, puberty kits etc).
