Sexual and Reproductive Health Services available to:

teenagers (male and female) age 20 years and younger
-
women age 21 years and older with barriers to services such as low
income, transportation &/or language issues
-
women age 21 and older who need special
services such as IUD insertion, emergency contraceptives, pregnancy options
counselling
-
men age 21 years and older if their partner is attending or has
attended the Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinic
-
students (regardless of age or school attending)
Appointments are available during drop in hours and are ONLY
offered for:

IUD insertions
-
diaphragm fittings
-
HPV-Gardasil vaccination (Okotoks Teen Clinic Only)
Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinics provide:

Birth Control information and prescriptions
-
Emergency Contraception
-
Pelvic examinations
-
Testing for sexually transmitted infections
-
Pregnancy tests and options counselling
FREE and CONFIDENTIAL

Public Health
Nurses will provide (or help arrange for) information, counselling
and referrals for birth control, sexually transmitted infections,
and pregnancy options.

Many of the health
units provide pregnancy testing, free condoms and free Depo Provera
injections with a doctor’s prescription.

Public Health
Nurses also have information, pamphlets, videos, other teaching
resources for loan to schools and community members. PHN’s will come
into schools or community forums to speak on a variety of sexual
health topics

Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30.
Canmore: Nurse
available Wednesdays

They are closed for lunch form 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.
