In addition to the resources found on this site there are many other additional sexual health education resources teachers can use. It is important to choose resources that are comprehensive, evidence based, and that reflect instructional methods proven to be effective at influencing positive behavioural change. Using the following checklist will help you evaluate a resource to determine if it may be effective. The more times you can check 'yes' the better the resource.

Diversity issues?
Student strengths rather than risk factors?
Clear expectations and reinforcement?
Will the student engage in: Setting and taking action towards their sexual health goals?
